I have made three keys in my relatively short Amateur Radio career.
The first key was a brass straight key with a built-in Code Practice Oscillator (Twin-T).
My second key was made from scrap wood and a plastic ruler, with screws and nuts.

In the video, Kevin suggested adding gap adjustment screws, so I did.
My third key is the DIY Dual Lever Paddle made from brass with a steel base.
I am still learning the Morse code, but hopefully, someday, maybe I will get on the air with my 40m QCX.
