A group of us are beginning our efforts to construct the QCX CW transceiver.

We noted that the transformer wire size is specified (page 50) at #28 enamelled. The wire size for L1, L2, L3 and L4 is not specified.

In the unlikely possibility that we have a problem (ya right) could #26 wire (I have a spool of #26 and #30 but no #28 - sigh) be substituted for the transformer and/or windings?
