[ptsw] Shortwave Radio Logs from Wisconsin

Glenn Hauser

Local time in Wisconsin is CDT, so why would he use EDT? But these logs are in
UT. Glad to see someone rediscovering SW. It would be more interesting to keep
track of the numerous relay sites involved, which were ignored in this report.

Warren,

Impressive reporting. For the times are you using UTC or EDT? I don't have some
of those catches and will try from here in Northern Va.

Glenn,

Was not sure, since in the NRC everything is quoted in ELT, no? But I assumed UTC, but was not sure.

Well said,Glenn!
I keep a copy of the latest skeds in txt format for later reference and pick up from there. When The Next WOR is produced,it's a good idea to make a copy on recordable media(CDRW/CDR,etc).I do this because WOR 1298 lamented the passing of Joe Atamov and Bjorn Malm. 73's from Tennessee!

Got a suggestion:Why not go to station websites, use RealPlayer11 and click the record button and save to playlist then use blank media to dupe it on and you'll notice a great quality copy.Sounds like a local FM station this way! 73's
