undocumented script commands

Hello,

I stumbled across the scripting commands "Select next tier" and "Select previous tier" in some posts by other users. These commands are not documented in the Praat manual as far as I can tell.

I'm wondering if there is a way to learn what all the undocumented commands are. I work with Praat quite a bit and would be helpful to know all the commands that are available.

These two commands are not scripting commands. They are available as menu commands in the View menu of the TextGrid window. All menu commands are available in scripts, so if you want to see a list of all possible commands, just travel the menus.

This is explained on the first page of the scripting tutorial.

Thank you!
In which (sub-) menu can I find the "Fade In" command (https://www.fon.hum.uva.nl/praat/manual/Sound__Fade_in___.html)? I suppose, it is somewhere in the dynamic menue, if a sound object is selcted, but I haven't been able to spot it until now.

Best

Ah yes, it is "hidden", perhaps because we were not sure enough whether the four parameters (channel, time, fade time, silent from start) were the right ones.

I guess we can make it visible now for Praat version 6.3.10. Meanwhile, you can make it visible by hand via Praat -> Settings -> Buttons -> S.
