Yep, it's on eBay... will be interesting to see how high it goes...

1956 MGA Red Convertible- I am representing this MG for the owner. He is not computer savvy. I have the car in my possession. The motor runs exceptionally well with a new carburetor kit. The engine bay is very clean.

Ready To Go: 1956 MG MGA Roadster

Steve Harding

Group Drive?

Kevin McLemore

The Triumph Club has been holding the occasional 'retiree' drive on weekdays or weekends, along country roads to a park for lunch, some sunshine, gabbing and mild exercise (usually just tossing a sanitized ball or Frisbee around). Social distancing is strictly adhered to and masks are used where needed.  We just took a drive today in this beautiful weather and it was spirit lifting.

I was wondering if my MG friends would be interested in such a drive? I'm happy to plan it, either for a weekday or weekend, but I need to know if folks are interested first. Feel free to reply here or privately at kmclemore@....  And let me know if weekdays, weekends or both are possible for you, please. You needn't be a 'retiree'!

Cheers,

Kevin McLemore

Deb and I started a project that turned into a business making PPE Face shields. (For those who haven't seen my FaceBook).
Heartland Dental Group got ahold of us and their offices are contacting us every day.  They have 1000 offices.  Plus nursing homes, car dealerships, individuals, you name it.  So either me or Deb are awake 21 hours a day running the printer farm we literally assembled in a 72 hour period 3 weeks ago.

Other than that, not much.

Re: One Family Owned: 1954 MG TF

Nice starting point! The TD’s are losing value in the market presently, but the TF’s are holding their own, so investment could be ok here. I had to laugh, though, since the page about this MG had the following advert smack in the middle of the description...

Roger,

Thanks for that... I just talked to them, and they are shipping.

I ordered what I needed and a couple of other parts to keep me busy with projects.

Thanks again,

Rich

One problem... I neglected to use a heat gun when I attempted to install a brand new rubber diaphragm.

I used clamps as suggested elsewhere to stretch the rubber far enough to hook in.

Just as I was pulling the last one in to place, the metal hook pulled out of the rubber diaphragm.

This would be irritating, but not a disaster if I could get a new part.

With Moss and Victoria British not shipping, does anyone know where I can buy this part (1965 MGB)???

I would be happy to patronize a smaller company that may have it on the shelf and is shipping due to the fact that they are a small business.

Anyway... let's see some pictures of what you are working on right now...
