For Immediate Release Contact: Katie Caljean Curator of Public Programming programs@... 908-735-4101 x102   Red Mill Museum Village 56 Main Street Clinton, NJ 08809 www.theredmill.org   British Invasion at the Red Mill   Clinton, NJ -- A marvelous collection of classic British cars will be on display at the seventeenth annual Red Mill British Car Day held on the grounds of the historic Red Mill Museum Village at 56 Main Street in Clinton, New Jersey on Sunday, June 3, 2012 from 10 AM to 3 PM.     Visit the Red Mill to see 100 of the most beautiful automobiles ever designed and produced in the British Isles, including MG, Triumph, Austin, Healy, Jaguar, Morgan and perhaps Rolls-Royce, Daimler, Lotus or Bentley. The show has been organized as a regional event of the M.G. Drivers Club of North America to benefit the Red Mill Museum Village and its work.   Participants are encouraged to bring a picnic hamper and be part of the Hamper Judging. The three hamper classes are: Casual Picnic, Best Menu Presentation and Formal Picnic: Era Appropriate to Car.   The car show will be held rain or shine. The judging classes, for the 100 cars in the show, will be determined by the ages of the cars preregistered with the approximately equal number of cars in each class. Cars must be preregistered to enter. Space is limited to first 100 preregistered vehicles. Our mission is to preserve, maintain, and present to the public the social, agricultural, and industrial heritage of Hunterdon and its surrounding area. Our ten acre site houses 12 historic buildings (including a Grist Mill, the Mulligan Quarry buildings, and several relocated historic structures) in which we display permanent and changing exhibits showcasing our collection of agricultural, industrial and domestic artifacts. The Museum hosts a broad calendar of public programming including lectures, workshops, living history reenactments and other special events throughout the year.
