Tow Dolly

Larry Macy

Hi PMGC’ers

I was wondering if any one has a good tow dolly we could borrow/rent for three months. Looking to tow a Toyota Prius around the country from Xmas to April.

I know there was a “club owned” one from a few years ago (donated by Reggie). but it had no brakes and I have no idea what happened to it. But we need one with brakes. We will be towing with our RV and traveling to TX, GA, FL, MS. AL, Ya know all the warm winter spots.

I had a line on one on FB but that didn’t work out.

Thanks

Larry

It's a Christmas tradition in our house to always give someone a Wentworth puzzle so we can build it together. Wentworth's are truly heirloom quality - made of wood, come in a nice cloth bag and have nifty 'whimsies' which are specially shaped pieces. They're definitely a challenge to assemble, but the quality is superb and we really love them. Anyway, being English they often have ones with cool vintage LBCs in them. I thought some of you might like seeing one of their latest:

Would also recommend the "Shelby American" film on Netfilx. It is produced by Adam Carolla, as is "24-Hour War," but does a better job explaining the entire history behind the 1966 Le Mans, I think. Plus, it has a very moving conclusion of Shelby's career.

For those of you who are interested, the Simeone Museum is having two Demo Days devoted to the history of this era on Dec 7 and 21. Bothe will have the actual cars that raced at Le Mans in 1966 and 1967 and you actually get to hear and see them run!

More info at: www.SimeoneMuseum.org

PS: They have an exhibit now until Dec 7 with some additional cars - especially a very rare 1965 Ferrari P2/3 that ran at Le Mans in 1966 - and the actual uniforms/costumes Christian Bale and Matt Damon wore in Ford v Ferrari that the studio has put on loan.
