Well, the market seems to be agreeing: non-collectible serigraphs, that is, limited SIS serigraphs, are showing up on Ebay at prices that would indicate an upward trend across the board. This week, a framed Hanson, a supposedly limited SIS edition, is up for US$400.
That's what lifetime, signed, limited edition serigraphs sold for just a few years back.
Now, Ebay is listing the collectibles starting at US$1,000 and topping out around US$4,500.
The old adage is that "a rising tide lifts all boats." Looks as if that "trickle down effect" is now confirmed.
