Claus,
When did Model Power make this MBM70? Or any full length passenger cars?

Mail Car Project
I hadn’t planned to participate, given that I already have no fewer than four unfinished PRR Pro projects.
However, in taking a second look, it may give me a chance to actually complete a project

Re: PRR Mail Car/RPO project - MBM62 baggage-RPO combine in N scale
Hi List Members,
I'm looking at doing a PRR class MBM62 baggage-RPO car for this project. An example of such a car, PRR 5403 can be seen at the link below.

Bob,
Thanks! Headend cars rarely ever saw the carwashers so they got pretty dirty, pretty fast. I actually consider the weathering on these 3 to be light to moderate 😉

Re: R50B Progress
Rich,
I am not aware of any other sets. That Champ set is pretty good too. A reminder - these cars received buff lettering well before other "passenger" cars.

Re: R50B Progress
Excellent work, Bruce. A question, Does anyone make suitable decals, besides the old Champ set, for the R50b? I have an undec in my stash.
Thanks,
Rich Christie

Re: R50B Progress
Good to see these come back from exile. Nice highlights that bring out the cars interesting lines. Were these cars ever washed? They always look .... well used.
Thanks for sharing.

R50B Progress
Folks,
Way back, for Project #2, in January, 2004, we started our R50B, express reefer project. At that time, I completed 3 cars, one Precision Scale brass car and modifications to two Walthers cars.
