Never got an answer after asking the first person.  Saw someone else asking the question but never saw anything publicly posted, asked two other folks and after back and forth emails all the rest of the day, here is, finally, a link to show folks where this OVENBIRD is located if you want to go find it:

Hope all this ends up with birders now knowing where it is and help in where to go find it.

Good luck and the BEST of Great Birding to all,

Just a reminder that, for better or worse depending on your viewpoint, the weekly Rare Bird Alert provides locations of all birds considered rare in the county that were reported within the last week. Sometimes these are general locations and sometimes they are specific with coordinates. In this case, since the bird was (publicly) refound again on 12 January, the RBA has consistently stated that the bird is located in the area surrounding the amphitheater at Golden West College, located directly west of the parking lot off of Gothard and Center. Don Hoechlin's coordinates can also be pasted into Google Maps by replacing the slash with a comma and removing the N and W.

While a certain amount of actual birding should be anticipated to find any rarity, in the future if anybody is genuinely confused about the general location of where a specific bird has been seen, please post on here or email Jeff Bray or me.
