continuing painted redstart

James Pike

The Painted Redstart was in a tall eucalyptus tree 40 meters east of the green picnic table at Mile Square Park this afternoon, engaging in typical looping flights in the treetop. Of CBC interest was the Red-breasted Nuthatch that was present a few weeks ago in dense pines a little further east of this spot. I didn't put any effort into finding it today.
