Dale Paul Clark age 80, beloved husband, father and papaw passed away at 9:46 PM on Friday, October 8, 2021, at the Dayton VA Hospital.

Dale was born June 9, 1941, in Arcanum to the late Cleyon Shields & Elfreda Amelia (Matthieu) Clark.

In addition to his parents, Dale was also preceded in death by a grandson, Seanathan; granddaughter, Kandi; and brother-in-law, Jerry Alexander.

Dale is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Debbie (Perry) Clark whom he married December 7, 1996; children, Kirk (Annetta) Clark of Castine, Kelly Spitler of Arcanum, Kris Clark of Arcanum, Kerry (Alva) Fuson of Laura, Jason (Michelle) Perry of Clayton and Matthew (Lauren Warner) Strickland of Arcanum; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Marilyn Alexander of Stockport, Susan (David) Gray of Greenville and Linda (Dan) Yeomans of Greenville; and many special friends and loved ones.

Dale served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a truck driver for Cooper Blacktop in Ludlow Falls. Dale was a member of the Pitsburg Church of the Brethren, Arcanum V.F.W. and the Greenville Eagles.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, October 15, 2021, at the Pitsburg Church of the Brethren 8376 Pitsburg-Laura Rd. Arcanum with Pastor Ken Oren officiating.

Burial will follow in Abbottsville Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the Greenville Veteran's Honor Guard.
