Dwain Earick
O. Dwain Earick, 77, of Sidney, passed away early Monday morning, January 16, 2023, at Ohio Living Dorothy Love. He was born May 24, 1945, in Piqua, to the late Charles Wayne and Doris Philena (Minnich) Earick. He married Evelyn M. (Arnett) Earick; she preceded him in death on January 12, 2021.

He is also survived by two children, Joseph Earick and Mary Earick; two grandsons, Anthony and Dalton Earick; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Loretta & William Rauch.

Dwain retired from Crane Pumps and Systems of Piqua and was a longtime member of the Madison Ave. First Church of God. He enjoyed ringing the bell for the Salvation Army, county fairs and festivals, and gospel music. Dwain really enjoyed living at Dorothy Love for the past five years, where he played euchre and bingo.

Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, January 19, at Moore Funeral Home, 10 S. High St., Covington. Friends may visit from 4-5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Private burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Covington. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army Piqua Corps, 129 S. Wayne St., Piqua, OH 45356.
