Is the advertising misleading??? and is racketeering involved on how search engines and Youtube recommendation did not show any warning videos when viewing the product in question...
The item is claimed to be an electronic device to improve fuel economy of a car through communicating with the vehicle's computer.. Devices with exact same appearance have been exposed as a scam with circuitry incapable of being any more that a resetable timer circuit, stated in this video for an "Eco Tune Plutg & Drive OBD2" https:/ /www. youtube.com/watch?v=xkrwSNw35vw The sales pitch was for a device called "Ecomax Fuel saver".. The item i received is labeled Ultra Fuel Saver.. The instruction text identifies the device with two different names, one being "ecoOBD2" , which has been flagged as a scam-device.. The instruction say i'm supposed to press a reset button during installation,,, but there is no indication in the instruction or on the device, of where it is located... I couldn't find the reset button so so i shines a light through the side of the box and was surprised how empty the inside of the box appears, so i used a pin-hole camera to look through the large hole, and saw a very basic circuit board like the one explained in the Scam explanation above... In the initial youtube promo clip it was claimed to quickly improve fuel efficiency,, but the instruction say it will recognize my vehicle and adjust to my driving habits after about 200Km/ 150miles.. That is a lot of driving,, & not reasonably quick enough for me to evaluate if it is working,, i drive about 40 mile a month... So finding out if this works will take longer that the period provided for a Money Back guarantee of the return policy.. Therefore,, i want my money back because this tripple-named device looks too much like the one being identified as a scam,, and has instruction that use the same name "EcoOBD2" as ones being identified, via technical videos,, as a scam-device,, a resetable flasher device... Please honor paypal protection and the return & refund request... I didn't get an invoice with either the conformation email or the package.. Very strange!! Thank you. The advertisement for this product came up during the viewing of a youtube video on an entirely unrelated subject and i didn't screen-shot that advertisement which played as a commercial,, but i do have images of the exact page that it forwarded me to,,,, and that page identified the product as ECO MAX,,, not ultra fuel saver.. I didn't got to their home page.. The link from the ad took me to an info & purchase page. https://buyecomax.com/blg/US/?ci=15167940620&ai=129883284672&de=c&dm=&cr=562102702985&ts=ytv&kw= Which then forwarded me to an actual purchase page,,,,, all showing the product as ECOMAX fuel saver,,,, not ultra fuel saver, currently showing on their webpage.. https://shop.ecomaxfuel.com/page/checkout1/10007E4A?&oid=21&affid=34&sub5=ts-1_of-171_net-17_ad-blg_ci-15167940620_ai-129883284672_cr-562102702985_de-c_geo-US&mvprm=sub5 Notice that the name of the item shown on the purchase page is ecomax but the product in the package is shown a ecoobd2 This product ecomax fuel saver and others with the ECO- OBD2 name are flagged heavily on youtube where i saw the advertisement,,, but none of THOSE videos came up while i was viewing the promo video... This reveals racketeering and mail fraud... According to a electronic technician,, the circuitry of this device cannot do what is claimed... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkrwSNw35vw Using a pin-hole camera i peeked in through the holes in the case as saw sparse electronic architecture. I'd add more images,, but i think i've filled the quote. This product/company need to be investigated by you and I will be forwarding this to my local Attorney General.. more details coming with submitted images that can be shared to encourage a Class action Lawsuit... nitna .... |
