first leps in Clatsop OR

The temperature peaked at just under 60F for the second day in a
row yesterday. I saw _Mesoleuca gratulata_ on blooming Hooker's Willow at Ft Clatsop and a likely azure flyby, but the surprise was a California Tortoiseshell working the azalea in my front yard in the afternoon. Too stealthy for a photo, though. -- Mike Patterson Astoria, OR I don't know... http://www.surfbirds.com/community-blogs/northcoastdiaries/?p=3924 |
