Switched on my SAA2 today to find the touch panel over the screen is not working.
Any thoughts anyone?
I should add that it has original firmware and I can still use the unit by means of the joggle switches.

maybe screen not calibrated?? then the buttons do not work ...

did you switcch on "flip display" (connectors to the top instead of to the bottom)?!?!?

then you MUST do the screen calib ... AND SAVE IT!

A few days ago I found the touch unit would stop working (freeze) during grabbing a marker to move it. Restarting the unit would return it to normal.

Hang on drag marker very old problem, you need update firmware.

Thanks for your reply. Is there a way of updating the firmware without having to recalibrate the touch screen?

Even if not calibrated or flipped, it should respond to touch and show something

Well, the problem fixed itself. I did not use the device for a few weeks and initially the touch screen was still not working but the next day it was working again. It has been working now for more than a month so my conclusion is that it was a poor connection.of the touch screen.
