SAA-2N V2_2 Blank White Screen
I turned on my VNA for the first time in about 4 months to do some testing. I was using it for about 1 minute to measure the S11 of a 600MHz antenna on a static controlled bench when the screen when black. Thinking the battery was low, I connected a 5v USB charger for a few hours until the LED gas gauge said full. Now, when I turn it on, all I get is a white screen with no image. What's up with that?
Phil Edit: I connected it to via_qt and it seems to be working fine so maybe the display is dead? |

Mine just did the same thing. I was using it to measure a new unun, then the screen turned white. I had not used it in a couple months. A full charge did not help. This is very strange that two did the exact same thing. Almost like a software 'dead date'. 73 Glen K4KV ps - I guess I will try and reflash the firmware On 5/16/2022 10:49, siriusphilg@... wrote:

Did you resolve this issue? have a friend with a white screen SAA-2N.
My own issue is that the touch screen is inoperative although the joggle switches work. |

I did, took it apart, re-seated the lcd connectors.

How do you know what is a good one? I bought mine on Amazon and seems ok. It came with a case connectors, and a test circuit board.
