Has anyone on this list tried this upgrade on an SAA-2N and been successful? My understanding is that my SAA-2N is a clone and may not be compatible with the "official" firmware releases. Ed, K0KC

Yep, that was it. I had tried a couple of cables, but they all did the same thing. I found one that works and all is well now. Thanks Aleks and Siegfried, you were right on!
