Eddie thanks for the quick reply. I have looked at the photo and in the top unit the middle light is lit so y/g it is not r/g. I should have studied the photo more carefully before rushing into

I think you may have gotten a bit mixed up: in your second photo, the Up Home is showing yellow/green, not red/green! The Up Directing would have been the signal showing red/green (or, more likely,

The second photo appears to show Y/G, not R/G ?? Y/R followed by Y/G followed by G/R is a natural aspect sequence?

Here is the photo sequence taken at Wallaceville the day before Christnas 2021. The time is recorded after the 'T" in the file name. It may not be correct to the nearest minute. but the train is 1602
