NJ Free-mo will be conducting another Free-mo clinic day, again in December, in Bordentown, NJ.
Last year’s event had appx. 16 people learn about Free-mo in an interactive presentation that included a hands on look at modules set up and on display at the annual Bordentown Train Show. Again, the clinic will take place prior to the train show opening to the public at 4pm.
Presentation and discussion includes how the presenters chose to get into Free-mo and the prototype inspiration for the modules they built. A review of the Free-mo standard will get things started, and then information on module planning, construction, display/set up and transporting methods and issues will be discussed in detail. Information on joining Free-mo groups and setting up at large events with other Free-mo modelers will round out the discussion. Plenty of time will be devoted to Q&A.
Morning refreshments will be provided, and attendees may participate in an operating session on the Free-mo layout in the afternoon.
The event is open to anyone interested in learning more about Free-mo, but there is no commitment or expectation that those attending will build modules (but it is encouraged!)
