The CanAm gift basket exchanged closed on Friday. I replied to everyone
that wrote me. If you didn't get a reply from me please write me again at: ally@dogzworth.com I will be sending everyone their matches on or before Oct 4. In case you missed the first message here's the re-send: It's back!!! The CanAm "Meet and Greet Gift Basket Exchange"! Previous basket exchanges were such a hit- we're doing it again. This is a great way for your club to meet clubs from other regions. Each participating club would both give and receive a basket. We will assign clubs to each other and let you know in advance to whom you are giving your basket. What should you include? Use your creativity and imagination! It can be a theme basket of items that are only found in your region, state or province. It could be a snack basket for the people. Or, perhaps you want to give something that is just for the dogs. It doesn't have to be extravagant, just something fun you want to share. Don't have a basket? No worries, just put the items in a gift bag. If your club would like to be included in the meet and greet exchange please email me at ally@dogzworth.com, by Friday Sept 20. Your email should include your club name, region and the size of your club (how many people are attending the CanAm). I will let you know by Oct 4 what club you will be gifting so that you can plan and make purchases for your basket/bag. I will assign you a club, provide the club name and number of people attending the CanAm. There will be no organized time for the gift exchange. Nominations for NAFA’s 2013 elections closing soon!

Nominations for NAFA’s 2013 elections close in approximately two weeks. Nominations remain open through 11:59 PM Central Daylight Time on September 30th. Elections this year are for Board of Directors (3 positions), Executive Director, Judge of the Year, Clyde Moore Memorial Hall of Fame (up to 2 inductees) and regional MVPs. Election results will be announced at the Annual General Meeting in Denver, Colorado January 18, 2014. NEW to this election year, nominees for the Clyde Moore Memorial Hall of Fame must not have earned NAFA points within 18 months of the close of the nominating period. For the upcoming election, this means that the nominees may not have earned points subsequent to March 31, 2012. In case you missed the first message here's the re-send: It's back!!! The CanAm "Meet and Greet Gift Basket Exchange"! Previous basket exchanges were such a hit- we're doing it again. We’re looking for judges for Saturday and Sunday!
Full time volunteers are still welcome, as well as part time.
Teams and regions can band together to help cover seats!
One line judge seat is open for Sunday morning. And plenty of box judge seats on both days!
We also need volunteers to cover other workers’ breaks.
Don’t forget, we are offering our full time volunteers a stipend for travel, hotel and food as well as numerous drawings throughout the weekend for all volunteers.

We are half way through the nominating period for NAFA elections, and activity to date is very light – a handful of nominations among a couple of the honor categories. Nominations remain open through 11:59 PM Central Daylight Time on September 30th. Elections this year are for Board of Directors (3 positions), Executive Director, Judge of the Year, Clyde Moore Memorial Hall of Fame (up to 2 inductees) and regional MVPs. We are still looking for more volunteers to fill 7 rings worth of Line and Box Judge chairs. Whether you are available to be a full time volunteer, or can help by signing up to work as a line/box judge for half day we would be very happy to have you join us in Indianapolis.
As we have done in the past we also are looking for teams that would like to volunteer to fill one of these chairs for half day slots. We will once again offer our full time volunteers a stipend for travel, hotel and food as well as numerous drawings through out the weekend for all volunteers.
