Just a reminder that we're asking voters (club owners, RDs, approved & supervising judges, and board members) to go through the email verification process no later than November 19. The verification process allows us to make sure we have a valid email address for you - that's where your electronic ballot will be sent. And it also allows you to verify that we have the correct vote calculation for you.
Ballots will be sent out electronically on approximately December 3, 2012. The election will close at midnight central time zone on January 24, 2013.
If you have any trouble with the verification process, please send an email to elections@... or you can email me personally at workinglabs@.... Be sure to click on the link in the confirmation email to complete the 2nd step of the process. That lets us know that you received the email verification.

This year’s election will again be conducted electronically. No ballots will be mailed. All voters must have a valid email address on file with NAFA to receive a ballot. Voters include: club owners, regional directors, approved and supervising judges, and board members.
We are asking that all voters go through the confirmation process. This will confirm that we have a valid email address. The email you receive will also indicate how many votes you have earned for this election. This year the new delegate vote count goes into effect for clubs. Clubs earn votes for team entries on a per weekend basis and earn votes for hosting on a per day basis. The maximum number of votes per club is now 15. Please see the current rulebook at www.flyball.org for the specific vote allocations. Vote allocations for service votes (Regional Directors, Approved & Supervising Judges, and Board members) has not changed.
If you do not go through the verification process, we’ll have to send your ballot to the email address we have on file.
Please note that this is a TWO step process:
Step 1 – go to www.nafaflyball.com/database/eballot_signup.php, input your name and email address. Once you are found in the database, you’ll be sent a confirmation email.
Step 2 – after you receive the confirmation email, click on the link and make sure that your address has been verified.

Please complete the confirmation process by November 19, 2012. We are hoping to have ballots sent out by December 3, 2012. Voting will end January 24, 2013 and results will be announced at the Annual General Meeting on January 26, 2013 in Minneapolis, MN.
NAFA Election Committee Chair
