RigBlaster & N3FJP Software

Scott Davis

Hi All,

FYI, Ed at West Mountain Radio has responded to the question raised earlier today regarding interfacing RigBlaster products with N3FJP Software. It sounds like their RigBlaster Pro works fine.

(Please keep in mind that I also have rig interfaces available at http://www.n3fjp.com./ under the Hardware link manufactured by W1GEE if you haven't yet purchased a rig interface).

The following is West Mountain Radio's response:

<< We have Scott's Amateur Contact Log v. 2.4 installed here and find that it has a requirement for two separate COM ports, one for RTS/DTR control of PTT(for the built in Voice Keyer) and CW Keying and the other COM port for Rig Control. The only RIGblaster that will provide for this interface requirement is the RIGblaster pro and when tested with Amateur Contact Log v. 2.4, worked just fine.
