Just took a quick look at the manual. It looks a lot like the 7300. The default ID is A4. The major difference I see is that there are two ports, one for CI-V (Port one) and one for rtty decode and DV data. This is on Page 8-14 of the basic manual. Think I would try setting it up as a 7300, change the address and see what happens. Steve, AI3KS

Hi Larry,
Thanks for the good report! From the PAQP software, on the rig interface page, while the program is polling your 705, click Save Settings under the Rig List.
Start AC Log and click Load Settings and select the file you saved.
That will do the trick.
Please click the Copy to Clipboard button on the rig interface form and send along your 705 settings, so that I can add them to the web site.
Enjoy! 73, Scott

Scott & Steve Very easy I changed the CI-V address to 98h same as my 7610. The 705 greats to more com ports, so that's all I changed, com port. I was surprised that the 705 doesn't have a baud rate setting. Everything should be that easy 73 Larry K1ZW
