Can't upgrade

I start ACL, it asks me to upgrade, I select it, then I get a message asking if I want to allow this app to make change to my device. I say yes.
Then, I get this error:

Hi Carl,

Thanks for your e-mail.  I'm sorry that you've run into trouble.  The Access Denied message indicates that your Internet protection software is clamping down on the process.  Go ahead and uninstall AC Log from Windows Control Panel and then install AC Log 7.0 from the website.

Everything goes well until I get this:

Hi Carl,

Thanks for your follow up.  I'm sorry that you are still having trouble.  Something is still preventing you (or the auto installer) to remove the previous version of AC Log.  I've not ever needed it here, I've had good reports from others on the free version of Revo uninstaller.  Hopefully this will get you going:
