Tip: How to See All Contest Entities Worked on World Map
Scott Davis
Hi All,
Want to see a map of all the DX entities you worked in last weekend's CQ WW DX contest? Here's how:
- Transfer your contest QSOs to Amateur Contact Log
- Click Awards > States, Counties, Countries
- Enter the range of QSOs for the contest and clear any other filters
- Click Calculate
- Click View Worked Map
Here are my results (114 entities worked, 1,070 QSOs, 503 mults with about 22 operating hours). TONS of fun!!!
Enjoy!

Thanks for the detailed instructions. Got it to work! Great, since I haven't been able recently to get QSOmap to show my contacts. This is good enough to show my wife who lovingly fed me tea, breakfast and lunch during the contest. George N0̸GM On Nov 29, 2022, at 8:33 AM, Scott Davis via groups.io <SNKDavis@...> wrote:

I hope it is ok to reply to an older thread with a similar question/problem. I have been trying to get ACLog to show all my QSOs. I'm fairly new to HF, so I have fewer than 200 for now. I didn't not use a contesting log; they are mostly imported from HAMRs or entered directly in ACLog. After following the above instructions, I see only 1 pin for my QTH and one for Canada (Toronto).
Am I doing something wrong? Thank you, John N3CLA |

Hi John,
Thanks for your e-mail. The world map displays QSOs you have logged and DX Spots received since opening the map. To see all the locations that you have worked historically, in AC Log, click Awards > States, Countries, Counties. Then click Calculate and click the View Map buttons that appear.
Enjoy!

Still no go. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. The form and map of what I'm doing should be attached.
Thanks, John |

Hi John,
Thanks for your follow up. I'm afraid that you've lost me. You have worked two countries so far, USA and Canada. Both entities are properly marked on the map. Enjoy!

Ok, maybe I'm misunderstanding some other posts on the topic. I would like to see all the QSOs, not just a single hit from any given country. So in my case, I'd like to see all 149 on the map.
Thanks, John |

Hi John,
Thanks for your follow up. The world map displays QSOs you have logged and DX Spots received since opening the map. It doesn't display already logged QSOs, only entities, as specific lat / long values are not saved with each QSO record.
Please see this information here for a better understanding of how the World Map works:
