Ummmm – so I’m confused.  You want to be able to do this in AC-Log?   Or a contest program?  Teach me, I am totally unaware of “temporary memories 1 thru 10 in AC-Log or any of the contest programs.  That said, I pretty much only use Field Day and VHF…. So I can’t speak about any other contest programs.

I would like to be able to store three types of frequencies for easy recall.
1 - Temporary frequencies of recently heard stations that I may call
2 - Frequencies of nets that I regularly check into
3 - Frequencies like start of SSB segments for various  bands like fpr 40,20,15 meters

I can use the 5/10 temporary memories for ether #1 or #2
The standard memories could be used for #2 and #3.
However, recall access to standard memories is difficult because of the small size of the knob.
Especially for me due to limited ability to turn it due to physical limitations of my dominate hand.
Due to diabetes the fingers on it have been "shortened".

For example a second set of temporary  memories if available would really help.

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for your e-mail.  My software doesn't store frequency memories at this time, but you can just type a frequency in the Call field and press enter to quickly tune to that frequency.

Rgr that.

You had me thinking there was some functionality in AC-Log that I had missed…..   not that this is a hard thing to do!  I’m guessing you meant it to go to some group dedicated to some radio?  I know my FT-817NT has what they call a QMB, for Quick Memory Bank.  But I’ve never used it.  I imagine other radios have a similar function.

I have posted it in the ICOM 7610 group. Only one reply so far.

Noticed your Jeep & reference to getting out in it.
I lived in AZ during the 70's. I had a 73 Toyota Landcruiser.
They were just heavy duty Jeeps back then.
I did a lot to customize it.  Wrote an article about what I had done.
Got it published in "Four Wheeler" magazine.
Had a lot of fun and adventures in it.
