QRZ lookup failures
Dave <k4em@...>
I get a password error and Unable to connect to remote server; when I lookup a call in ACLog on 3 of my computers. When I go to ACLog, Callbook, QRZ Internet lookup, Please click here to learn more; it takes me to QRZ..I click on test XML Account Test Page; I then get a Windows can't connect error to that page
I can login to QRZ.com, lookup callsigns, go to forums, everything is fine. I am not having any Windows issues at all. When I go to QRZ.com I can lookup calls fine. But I can't bring up the Help Desk to log a ticket, same Windows connection error on all 3 of my computers. Anyone having a QRZ issue? Yesterday morning I did notice that the QRZ forum access was down for several hours, but that is now working. Dave k4em |

Well I finally found an email address within the QRZ site. I asked them to forward my issues to there Help Desk.
I was able to look at my XML account info all looked normal. I was NOT able to change my password or open a Help ticket. I tried to log into QRZ with Firefox, it didn't like my password. I think there password database may be corrupted. Dave k4em |

You're not the only one with issues. Just simply trying to log onto qrz.com, I put in username and password, get the code sent to my phone for authentication and it fails. Tried it on three different computers with the same result. Clicking on the help section fails altogether. They must be having issues with their website. 73 John KC4LZN On Sat, Apr 6, 2019, 07:27 Dave <k4em@...> wrote: Well I finally found an email address within the QRZ site. Everything working now, can access help Desk and ACLog logging qso's from WSJT Alert. Also no errors looking up calls in ACLog.
I faxed QRZ the info this morning. Dave k4em |

Ever since QRZ went to the "Newer Better Faster" Server they are having so many problems.
As we used to say 'The Fault Does not Lay With Your Television Set....." The Fault does NOT lay with ACLog or Your Computer but with QRZ.... Maybe they should use a REAL Server and a Real Server Service..... My two Cents KF1P Bob |
