Adding CQ-Zone to Cluster window
Dave
How do I add a CQ-Zone column to the LARGE cluster window? I want to see what zone a DX station is in when spotted. If it's already there and hidden how do I retrieve it?
Thanks, Dave k4em

Jim, Thanks for the note about clicking on the TIME label to reset time. I did not know about that one, COOL. As to offline, it looks like ACL related to me----I'm learning stuff. Steve K4ELI

Re: Operator
You can export the QSOs in question to an ADIF file, use ADIF Master to bulk fill the OPERATOR field with your call, and then re-import after deleting the incorrect records. Per ADIF spec, OPERATOR should always be your operator callsign, not name or initials. If you are thinking of another field please be more specific.
And always back up your files before you make any mafor edits! 73 -Jim NU0C On Tue, 11 Feb 2020 12:20:45 -0800 "Mel Marcus" <melm@reliable.net> wrote: I just did the wpx rtty contest. unfortunately the operator name is incorrect on 300 rtty qso's how can a change the operator on those qso without going to each one and editing

Re: Dupes when uploading to LoTw
I don't know, I don't use spotting inside of ACL. Normally the time is set to current time when you tab away from the CALL box, but at any time you can click on the title bar of the TIME box and it will set to current time.

Make the name correction. Upload a new log and overwrite the current one. Maybe it’ll work?

digital info
#contest
David Sigmon
I am a user of HRD logging software and also use the HRD Digital DM780 and this is for my personal shack. Now I also have started a club within the last year. Most of our members were familiar with the N3FJP software and we use it for our contesting and we all LOVE it! I am one of the members that work the digital mode in contesting and I use what I know which is the HRD DM780 for psk31 now I made it through Field Day last year by logging it on paper and also letting it log to HRD and then manually logged into the N3FJP software it was a real pain to keep it all current as I have a buddy that is also doing digital with me on a different band during the contest so we have to stay on top of things to keep from having dups. I do see the info on the N3FJP that is posted showing the bridging from other digital modes into the N3FJP software. And I do see the info for HRD as well, But before I go through that I am asking for your thoughts on to what program you feel works the best with less issues and the easiest to work. I am getting things ready for the upcoming NC QSO party and just would like your input. Thanks David, KC4SOT

I guess the way ACL knows when I start calling is from the Telnet Spots and me being on that Freq ? I'll turn Telnet Spots off and see what that does 73 Ed N5DG

Re: Dupes when uploading to LoTw
FWIW I never log a Time Off unless it is an extended QSO or some digi mode software logs it for me. For contest style and DXpedition contacts Time On logged at the time of contact has always been good enough.

Re: Dupes when uploading to LoTw
Ed,
The first one you do after an upload should be "Download All Since". This will ensure all your freshly uploaded records get flagged as sent and will prevent dupe errors the next time you upload. If you don't get anything back at first, wait a while and try again until you succeed. After a major contest weekend it can take several hours for LoTW to catch up. "Confirmed Since" will collect any new confirmations that have come in since your last check and flag those records accordingly. You can do this at any time. Say no if ever ACL politely asks if you want to add missing records that it finds; there shouldn't be any and a record that you correct an error in and re-upload will trigger this. You can always examine the data after the download to see what it was. I also periodically roll my "Confirmed Since" date back a few months to catch any stray confirmations that hit LoTW when the streams crossed. If you aren't using ACL to track awards you may not even want to worry about confirmations, but I would keep it synced up anyway. I use the DXLab tools in parallel with ACL but find DXKeeper to be way too busy for realtime logging. 73 -Jim NU0C On Mon, 10 Feb 2020 08:58:59 -0800 ed.n5dg@gmail.com wrote: Hello Scott, Jim and Frank. Hi Paul,
Thanks for your follow up. Those are the only AC Log related settings. If it is still not working, something external to AC Log is preventing your connection to QRZ. Make sure your Internet protection software isn't clamping down on AC Log.
Enjoy! 73, Scott

Thanks,

being populated with the Name, County, or Address and I’m trying to figure out
if those fields can be picked up and populated in ACLog.

Just wanted to say that your WPX software worked flawlessly....top grade stuff. I used it in con junction with HRD. Smooth as a baby's bum :) Also, you must be banging your head against the wall re: FT4/FT8 and folks not studying how LoTW works and experiment several times to solve the numerous LoTW questions that keep popping up. Design something for easy and simple but some people want more of what your software doesn't support in the first place (but suggestions are always good) Many thanks again Frank NG1I
