Re: Comment section of ACLog

Kevin Gray <notsome1else@...>

It probably isn’t the settings in ACLog, it’s more than likely the settings in WSJT-X (you didn’t mention it, but I imagine you are using this).

Go to File>Settings

Then click on the “Reporting” Tab ( 5th one over)

Under “Logging” look at the 4th check box down.

Is it checked ??

I was hoping someone else in the group here would know what to do or have a resolution for this.....

On my other computer it logs the a call book name and address but on my other computer it puts the send and receive Signal report in the comment section.

If anyone has a resolution for this please let me know.

Tnx

Hi Greg,

Thanks for your e-mail.  AC Log will look up the data from previous QSOs (if you have the carry comments data forward option enabled) and QRZ (if enabled),  but any data overwrites are handled by the connected program.  AC Log has no control over that.

Thank you Scott for that link with the YouTube viewing.

Went back through, and this time used the "pull-down" tab for the station location and discovered that there was a "common" inserted in the middle where there should not have been! Now we are up and running a GREAT product.

Re: Useful DXCC map

Bo,

A very useful and free tool mentioned on this reflector in the past is Club Log. Once you sign up you can upload your AC log and it will tell you which countries you have worked and/or confirmed on each band. It also provides an easy way to order QSLs via OQRS for those Dxpeditions and DXers that use it. Just keep it open in your browser and you can quickly decide if you need a particular country. Scott has included a very user friendly upload tool in AC Log as well. There is even an option on Club Log to list by DX prefix if you want.

Try uninstalling the driver and then reinstalling it without the radio attached.  Then plug your cable into the USB port you want and turn on your radio.  I heard that the driver bonds with the com port so it makes it difficult to change the com port once it is installed.

Your probably going to have to pay for something. Lists of DXCC entities are available for free. ARRL and RGSB both sell wallhangers 24 X 36. ARRL wants 15 bucks plus shipping. It is laminated and comes in a nice cardboard tube. I have one on my wall next to the rig. Yaesu did give something out with new hf rigs but I dont know if they sell them. Quite large. But you need that there are a lot of prefixes and dxcc entities.

I'm assuming this file was put there when I loaded the Ohio QSO Party Contact Log.

I deleted this file and reinstalled the Ohio QSO Party Contest Log.  A much larger "SQSO.txt" file was installed.  This solved my problem and now the interface between Fldigi and N3FJP Ohio QSO Party Contest Log works correctly.

Hi George,

Thanks for your e-mail.  AC Log 6.5 is the latest.  There is a beta that addressed a very rare and specific API anomaly that only a few folks experienced.  Otherwise, you have the latest.
