Dale,

If you are using DTR/RTS did you enable those in the 7300 USB Send/Keying menu?

How do you change the Font on the main form?  IE, Time, “Current” Log button, the drop-down menu headings at the top, etc.  I have been able to change the fonts for the contact entry windows and the logged area, but can’t see where to change the others noted.

Hi all
How do you check all bands at the same time for countries etc. Worked on the awards page in AC Log? I recall reading somewhere or hearing from someone that it’s possible, but I don’t see a all band filter anywhere.

Scott,

FYI, if your using the standard .NET Dialog classes (based on the CommonDialog) to open files and directories, you can open to the last used directory without needing to write any path save/restore code. The standard Dialogs have a "RestoreDirectory" property which if set to true will open at the last user-accessed directory regardless of the path specified by the "InitialDirectory" property. I use it all the time, give it a try (it may not be available in the Framework version you code against).

Hi Ralph,

Thanks for your e-mail.  The UTC time is read directly from your OS.  No calculation from local time is required.

Enjoy!

Like Jim/NU0C, I am always importing from my N1MM exports folder ... so I made a shortcut to that folder and put it in the ACLog folder that always opens on import.  A quick mouse operation and I'm in the folder I need to be!

Although I am using mostly different software, I can share ports using VSPE - Virtual Serial Port Emulator software from Eterlogic.  The 64-bit version is not free ($25) but works very well.  I think that is what you need.

Bruce,

Check out VSPE. I use this all the time to "port share". Works great on my systems. It allows 4 Apps to share the same COM port.

I've not experimented with port sharing software so I don't have any advice to add myself, but others may have some suggestions for you there.

Subject: [N3FJPSoftwareUsers] ACLog JTDX JTAlert w/ K3
Scott,
I have ACLog, running with JTDX, running with JTAlert, connected to a K3.  The K3 has the upgraded interface/internal soundcard, KIO3B/ KXV3B.
The KIO3B uses a single USB cable to connect the computer (through a virtual COM port, in in my case COM6) to the K3 for Rig Interface and Soundcard functions.  CW keying is done through a WKMini assigned to virtual COM7.
This all works great together, except if I have JTDX running too.  The rig interface functions conflicts with the two programs, JTDX and ACLog, running at the same time.  I get a COM6 conflict error message in ACLog, which I click OK and it allows me to use JTDX and JTAlert with no issues.  However, if I want to switch to CW, I have to close JTDX, JTAlert, ACLog and only restart ACLog, then I have to go into the WinKey set-up and open the WinKey, COM7.
This is cumbersome to say the least.  Is there a way to resolve these conflict issues with the Rig Interface functions and keep all the programs running at the same time?

The menu selection "Import ADIF ..." always goes to the ACLOG directory in Documents. It would be nice if the last directory used could be remembered, or even better if it was configured.

With the size of USB sticks as big as they are these days you could put a Linux distro on a bootable stick and run ACLog in a Windows virtual machine under Linux.
