Re: DX Spotting Question
You know, it very well could be my internet. We are out in the country and have no wired internet available. We have a microwave link, 8 mbps each way. It is slow sometimes with long latency. I'm giving that a high probability! Thanks for the idea! Tom, K0YA

Re: DX Spotting Question
Hi tom,
It’s probably not ACLog that is hanging. It’s probably the spotting
cluster you are using. Open up the DX spotting window (Cntrl-D) and
disable/enable spotting. Sometimes choosing a different telnet host
will help.

Hey Tom. I had that problem after I placed a new computer into service. I forget now what I did to fix it but I’ll try to dig through my notes to see if I saved anything related to the issue.

Hi Rino,
Thanks for your follow up. Yes, if you rename Other6 to n3fjp_spcnum, those values will populate that field on ADIF import.
Enjoy! 73, Scott

When I open the adif from my main log with Notepad I got the same field tag but also

Re: Getting band data to WSJT-X
I run Win4Icom Suite, which has a virtual server that allows me to
have up to 6 virtual ports open. With this setup I can run my
general logging program, WSJT-X and JTAlert all at the same time.
All programs are able to share information with the rig. I think it
costs $60 US now to register, but you can download it and try it for
30 days for free.

Re: Getting band data to WSJT-X
Edward Van Cleave <ed_vanc@...>
Late Icom rigs (IC-7610 and IC-9700) solved the problem you are experiencing by employing the USB port for WSJT-X control/audio in/audio out, which provides log entries into ACLog via JTAlert. Then a special cable connects the CIV remote control port
to ACLog for rig control with the other modes. I run two rigs often, which both WSJT-X and AClog handle well, but the two control cable solution requires two cables for each radio
Noticed that the K3 has an RS232 port in addition to the USP port. Perhaps you could use that to maintain control with ACLog for other modes, unless you are running the pan adapter which requires connection with the RS232 port.
