DUPE for different Operators in FD
My Grandsons and I ran FD from my house this year using the Family club callsign. Another Station informed us that we were a dupe although FD logging program did NOT catch the Dupe. We did some sleuthing and discovered that since we had diligently changed operator in the log that these counted as different contacts. A good way to look foolish. What can be done about this. I have used ACLOG for over ten years and it has been wonderful. This is my first use of the FD program. Doesn't this cause problems when Clubs use it for logging??

Odd Things
n9dms@...
Given this was a new thing, 6.3 was great. Here’s a couple of oddities maybe to look into once you feel like it: My total was 127. My software was saying 36, which might have been 1st Day count but can’t remember. This only started on day 2. Worked perfectly on day 1. Shut down and restarted the software- waited 3 minutes and magically it caught up. Almost. My count was 127, software said 105. I know I ran into two Canadian contacts who were insisting their section was one the software didn’t like. I put in what the told me despite 6.3 protestations. But that was only a couple instances. Don’t know what happened to the other 20 or so.
Anyway give this was all pretty much last minute stuff for everybody, generally it worked well most of the time for most of the people. thank you from N9DMS Dave

Re: Exception Error W7COA
Scott Davis
Hi Cliff,
Thanks for your e-mail. I'm sorry that you ran into trouble. I have not ever seen that error report before.
It's not clear from the error report what specifically is triggering the error. If you can go to the main form after clicking Continue, try opening your Backup file (or if a portion of your log file loads, see what record might be triggering the error (last record loaded)).
