Hi Scott nice to meet you.  As mentioned in the original post I have no trouble with moving the file from N3FJP to QRZ
"Of course, another alternative is to easily upload your log to QRZ by clicking File > Export ADIF, exporting the records you want to send to QRZ and then uploading from QRZ." (http://www.n3fjp.com/faq.html#q85But my confirmations are not moving with it.

Now that LOTW and QRZ are friends again, and their integration is working, my question becomes more curiosity than need.

Glad to have all this support! I have already worked through a few issues.
My issue this time is that my QSOs that are confirmed in N3FJP are not transferring over to QRZ.
I can export the ADI file and import that file into QRZ with no issue.
The new QSO will show up in QRZ but not the confirmation.

Advice?

Thanks

Hi John,

Thanks for your e-mail.  There have been no changes to the Time Off field processing, no other problem reports and I can't duplicate what you describe.  As long as you enter a valid time, AC Log should accept it fine.  If you continue to have trouble, please give me an example of a specific value that is not being accepted.

Enjoy!

Verify that you have entered the correct Time On value.
The Time On value may also be changing as you step through the other fields the log record.

I was not as fortunate with my 590sg - but I think the issue is on my end.

Currently I have my usb connection going to a PC that’s used exclusively for my remotehams interface. The rigs com port is currently being used with Omnirig to allow my SDRuno software to intersect with the 590sg.

I tried a virtual com port but that didn’t work. Will it be possible for me to use that one Connection for both my panadapter  and the logging software?

Thanks

Gary,
You should be able to go to  "Apps" in your Windows settings, locate either "Microsoft Access" or what ever version of Microsoft Office that you have installed and uninstall it.
If you are running an older version of Access or Office, you may have to select "Programs and Features" from the right side of the "Apps and features" window, locate the program there and uninstall it.

I verified LoTW was up and manually uploaded an adif via TQSL with no issues. Problem has been
intermittent since. Close and reopen ACLOG usually allows for a few auto upload QSO's and then stops again. Problem is also affecting downloading LoTW to ACLOG.
Windows 10 Current Update

Any thoughts and advice are greatly appreciated.

Re: ARRL LOTW list Vs N3FJP list

Scott Davis

Hi Jim,

Thanks for your e-mail.  Rather than changing the country names in AC Log on entry, you should always go with the defaults in Jim's AD1C country list that AC Log uses.  When the ADIF export occurs, the names are mapped to a DX entity number in accordance with ADIF spec, so DX entity matches occur regardless of country spelling.  If you change the country name from the AD1C list default, the proper entity number will not be mapped as part of the export.

More details on Jim's country list are here:

I was looking at my LOTW  DXCC AWARD totals on the their web page and found some of my CURRENT DXCC totals on various bands were different than what N3FJP log award totals were. So I started to look for what I was missing. I gave up looking. Why, because of what I found.

What I noticed was that some of the country names in the DXCC Entity column are different than  the list in AClog DXCC awards. Would be a lot easier to search and compare if they all matched and aligned  with the LOTW list.

ARRL LOTW does not make mistakes and you can be sure that these totals are spot on and trusted. Human error comes into play. I as a user make mistakes in my data entry, so I correct those errors in my log to align with LOTW I correct my mistakes and at times send in an update or contact DXCC desk depending what the issue is. In 50 years I only called them once to correct a mistaken credit that needed needed to be removed.  Usually I would type in a call wrong and resubmit to LOTW.

Re: [N3FJP

Bob Smallwood

Jim,

LOTW is not infallible.

I see several possibilities for mismatched countries:
1) The other station did not set their location correctly - this is the country shown in LOTW;
2) You may be using an outdated version of the AD1C country files (no entry or outdated country assignment for their station), resulting in your log being inaccurate;
3) Country files are current but incorrect (rare, but not impossible)
4) You may have manually entered the country you thought you had contacted.
5) Something else...

I would research where that station was on that date. If LOTW has incorrect country, then that station will need to correct their location and resubmit (contact LOTW). If country is incorrect in ACL, enter the correct country (be careful about spelling).

Hope this helps!
