I must have made a change accidentally. AC log shows SSB but I’m working FT8 and when it logs it shows FT8. What did I select to have this happen. I can’t change it in AC log.

Adjusting the contest loggers for all the less common contests drives me nuts, but I usually lock it.
Using the WAE logger for the ongoing RTTY contest that wants the grid square, IF I enter it in fldigi and log it, it will take the EM95 exchange OK.
But if you try it in the Logger or to edit, it will not let you enter the letters.  As it should, BTW.

So I dump it to ADIFmaster, edit, put back in logger.

No biggie. Just wondering if there is a simpler way. I can't conquer N1MM after several tries.

Having a blast in the RTTY contest.

Scott,
I am NOT the programmer for this App, I am only reporting what it does. But it does send the logged contact via TCP/IP.  Is there not a way that ACLog could not read this transmission and use the data to log the contact?

Scott,

I found this in your API

Receive Notification of user pressing enter and tabbing from the Call field
New in 0.8, N3FJP Software will automatically notify your app when the user has entered a contact or tabbed from the call field.
Data sent to your app on enter:
<CMD><ENTEREVENT><QSOCOUNT>765</QSOCOUNT><CALL>LA9A</CALL><BAND>10</BAND><MODE>CW</MODE><MODETEST>CW</MODETEST><COUNTRY>Norway</COUNTRY><DXCC>266</DXCC><CONT>EU</CONT><QSO_DATE>20160810</QSO_DATE><TIME_ON>144300</TIME_ON></CMD>
Data sent to your app when tabbing from the Call field:
<CMD><CALLTABEVENT><CALL>LA9A</CALL><BAND>10</BAND><MODE>CW</MODE><MODETEST>CW</MODETEST><COUNTRY>Norway</COUNTRY></CMD>
If you don't want to receive these notifications send:
<CMD><CALLTABENTEREVENTS><VALUE>FALSE</VALUE></CMD>
BUT how does it help when the App sends the ADIF file to the Server in ACLog? Guess I am confused what I am suppose to do. I have no control over the App that is sending.

I originally had the baud rate at 19.2, everything was working. Updated and changed both the rig and ACLog to 9.6, after watching the video and reading suggestions on the baud rate.
Still is not functioning correctly.
Running the com test it reads the mode, but not the frequency. Obviously doing the Freq test from the settings page does not change the rig since it appears there is no communication for frequency data in either direction.
I have also had this window pop up when entering a call sign into ACLog that says it is having a communication problem with QRZ, although it seems to enter all the data, like name, country, address, etc, however omits the county. This probably  a separate issue, but who knows. I am running Windows 10 with ACLog on an HP i5 proc, 8GB RAM laptop.
Any suggestions would be welcome

Just to be clear, you are looking at LogData.mdb from the OLD hard drive? Is is a Microsoft database file, you won't be able to open it with anything but ACLog or MS Access (or compatible). Unless Windows or your old HDD totally blew chunks (not unheard of) it should still be there and intact.

Hi Larry,

Thanks for your e-mail. Unless you clicked Save As and gave the file a
new name, you are looking for LogData.mdb. It will reside in a path
something like:

C:\Users\YourWindowsUserProfile\My Documents\Affirmatech\N3FJP Software\

Enjoy!

My computer recently crashed. Stupidly, I didn't build an external backup
file. However, I do have access to the hard drive from the old computer.
I have downloaded the logger file, but I don't know how to recover my
contacts from the old hard drive to put them back into the logger. What
file am I looking for to recover my contacts?
