New Info.My problem was an incorrect grid square info related to my station location in  TQSL. My grid square is CM98iq. The incorrect data was CM98hq. I don't know how long the wrong data was there, however the latest TSQL Version 2.5.2 included the ability to detect incorrect location data. As soon as I corrected the error all my uploads are accepted.. The suppressed files are are now in my log.

Power settings

I normally stay at one power setting (45w) but occasionally will pump it up to 90.

But each qso it logs as 95w.    How can I change it so that I don’t have to go back and edit each and every entry?

Is there a way to renumber the entries in the database so that record numbers match a sort by date? I couldn't find anything about record numbers in the FAQs, other than resetting and eliminating high numbers.

I just finished the Florida QSO Party and was entering my score into 3830scores.com. It would be helpful if on the statistics page there was a Multiplier breakdown.
It wasn't a big deal to just get my two numbers but for others operating multiple modes and bands it might be helpful. (i.e. # of counties worked per band/mode).
Fun contest. I uploaded the ADIF file to QSOMAP.ORG to view counties worked: https://qsomap.org/N9MSFL/fl.html

If I understand this, you want to WIPE OUT the present log file in your portable computer, and then import the log file from your main computer to the portable computer.  I do that all the time.  If I have it understood correctly – EASY!

Just for safety, on the portable computer do this.

FILE à EXPORT ADIF à WHOLE LOG.   Give it a distinctive name like PORTABLE LOG BACKUP, save it to a place you’ll remember.

NEXT.

FILE à RESER COUNTER à enter 0 (ZERO) and click OK.  This step will wipe out your log without changing anything else.  Even the log name is the same.

From your main computer, type the following.

FILE à EXPORT ADIF à WHOLE LOG.   Give it a meaningful name, and save it in a place where the portable computer can grab it.  Example, MS OneDrive, Drobox, a USB drive etc…..

On the portable computer do this.

Click FILE à IMPORT ADIF à  find the file you just saved from the main computer, and import it.

That should do it for you.

After I use it, I copy the new entries and load them into my master. Since the secondary ACLog does not get everything the master gets, I want to delete all the records in the secondary ACLog and then reload it from records from the master. I don't want to uninstall the secondary ACLog because I don't want to have to redo the settings. What files could I delete in the secondary ACLog that removes all the records currently there, so I could then copy all the records from the master back into it?  Thanks   Jim  W7JWT

Hi Max,

Thanks for your follow up.  I've not ever operated as you intend, so I don't have first hand experience, but what you propose sounds reasonable.  You can click File > Remove Duplicates after the contest, but backup your file before you do by exporting in ADIF.  That feature has not be tested extensively with rover duplicates.

Enjoy the contest!

OK I see what I was doing wrong.
When I get here…. this has to be blank and I pick the button.   I go to the second list…put in values and exit that.
When I enter a call, I get 2 records for the price of one.
But if I move to the ORGIL line shared with ORSHE, and do a call for NT3KK again, I get a duplicate and can’t get them logged for ORSHE,
So the work around from what I can see is to  set to Allow Dupes and clean up with the remove duplicates later.
Am I on the right track?

Hi Brian,

Thanks for your e-mail.  Only use the + feature when you are working another station on a county line.

You should click the Change County option and add the two counties you are activating simultaneously.  Only one entry is required for two QSO records to appear.

Trying to wrap my head around this county line thing.... I will be activating several county lines in Oregon.... two at a time. For Example Morrow & Giliam then moving to Gilliam and Sherman
I have been doing test logging, and attached is where I am at.... but I don't think things are scoring correctly...For example, I tried to the plus thing with the county names.

That seems to work, I then see that I can actually add a second contact but when "running" this seems cumbersome at best.
For Record 1 and 5..... I would have2 contacts for the first record, but because the second GIL would be a duplicate, only 1 there.
For record 6, I still am able to record 7&8  but those are actually duplicates or 6.
Sounds like if I go the ORSHE+GIL approach I would have to dump the log data in a spreed sheet short for dupes...
And reconcile that record #1 below is actually two contacts....copy the record and create one with ORSHE and one with ORGIL
And change time stamps, but that seems like a lot of work if I have to do it that way.
As a programmer by trade to me the simple solution would be to use the Plus feature and when the program saves it...it creates two records.
For example #1 would be K2BA and set to ORSHE and #2 would be K2BA and set to ORGIL
When I move to ORSHE and work K2BA on that line, it would only create 1 record becaise it sees that K2BA was done for ORGIL already.

Re: New User Can't access QRZ When Logging

Scott Davis

Hi Bob,

Thanks for your e-mail.  I'm sorry that you've run into trouble.  QRZ continues to work fine here.  Since it was working fine for you yesterday, it should continue to work today, provided you didn't make any changes to the lookup settings, or something external to the software is at play.  Make sure your Internet protection software isn't clamping down on AC Log.  Also, be sure that your password only uses letters and numbers, (no special characters).

I hope that this helps.

I am a new user and so far I am super impressed! Lots of options and FAST.
I think I broke something....here is my story.
Yesterday I jumped right in and was logging contacts without issue.
I would enter the call sign of my contact and hit tab.
The program would automatically fill in the rest of the boxes....name, address, county...
Now today, I enter the call sign and hit tab.  It gives me just the country.
What did I break?
I have the QRZ Premium package including XML and I am all paid up.
Any clues would be most appreciated.

Just checked for HP BIOS update and it was available. Downloaded updated BIOS and it must have updated drivers.
