I have a Timewave Navigator which includes a Winkeyer. It seems like every time I start ACLog, I have to go into the Winkeyer setup and connect to the Winkeyer. Is there anyway to make this happen automatically?

Mitch,
I had the exact same problem, went over my settings and discovered one was off. When I fixed that setting, everything worked fine.

Hi John,

Thanks for your e-mail.  I'm sorry that you've run into trouble.  Installation on XP and Win 8 (all Windows for that matter) is identical.  Instructions are on the CD, but in short, just start Windows File Manager, navigate to the program on the CD you wish to install and then double click the setup file.

Enjoy!

Scott and all,

I  bought from your full disk a while ago - nearly 2 months.

I installed it on my XP machine.  Except for a bunch of operator problems works great.  Still getting used to it.

Try to install it on my Win 8.1 machine.  Load the CD which reads it but it never asks me to install it.  Nothing happens.

Went to the controls setting and set it to ask me each time is installed - nothing happens.

Turned on AUTOPLAY too but nothing happens.

Any ideas.  I am not a guru on this stuff by any means.

Hi Mitch,

Thanks for your e-mail.  The rig interface in all of my software is identical.  Start any of the programs that you have working properly.  Then click Save Settings at the bottom of the rig list on the rig interface form, while it is polling your rig.

Start the 7QP software, click Load Settings and select the file you saved from the properly configured program.

Enjoy!

Are you in one of those seven states ? if so then the country is the two character state then the county. like Maricopa county in Arizona is AZMCP

if you are out of state you should be using the out of state logging program

Re: Got Processor Working

Hi Dave,

You are not going to be able to combine everyone's individual logs for Field Day with ARRL's 1,000 foot Field Day rule.  You should be looking at this as everyone in your club essentially running their own Field Day sites.  You will be using the Club Score Processor to continue the interactive, community feel of Field Day, as your group can see your combined total, chase each other up the leader board, etc.

Thanks a lot fellas.  That helps a lot.  We are of course hoping to be where we usually are for Field Day which will make things a lot easier.  This software of course was not designed for a "Shelter in Place" scenario where we have a minimum of two people running the same frequency.  One will end up using the Field Day Software and the Processor.  Then after the fact we'll add in #2's which he or she will have logged the old old fashioned way.  We'll add it in, find the dupes, and still end up with the totals at the end.  A little more work, but we won't be able to set up a LAN because in most cases, no one lives near anyone else!  But THANKS THANKS THANKS for the explanations.  That REALLY Helps.  Maybe after Field Day I can help put together a video tutorial on this subject.
