Re: Yaesu FTdx101MP
Scott Davis
Hi Jeff,
Thanks for your e-mail. My software is designed for logging, not full rig interface, but it performs the essentials of reading frequency and mode, as well as being able to change frequency by clicking on a DX spot, etc. You will find the Yaesu 101 MP configuration details here:
All my software is free to try and fully functional. Please give it a try and see what you think!
Thanks for your interest in my software! 73, Scott

Re: FT-2000 and ACLOG
Scott Davis
Hi Joe,
Thanks for your e-mail. I don't know what you mean when by the Settings > Rig Interface > Transmit tree. After the Rig Interface form appears, there is a Send button, so I am guessing that is what you are referring to, which just sends the designated frequency to the rig.
I don't have any Yaesu equipment myself, but you will find the successful settings other Yaesu 2000 users have sent along here:
Enjoy!

I have ACLOG loaded on my computer.
ACLOG loads OKAY, But when I go to settings and select rig interface and Transmit set up it
won't bring up screen, goes back to log screen. So I Can't get to the FT-2000.
Probably something simple..
It's working fully on N1MM..
Any Suggestions...
Thanks

Re: Tagging Contacts for QSL
Mitch NW0M
I just put a 'C' (for Card) in the Rec Conf By and/or Sent Conf By. And if it has already been confirmed by LOTW with an 'L', I add the 'C' at the beginning so 'CL' is stored in those two fields.
You could then sort the column by Rec Conf By, and create QSL labels for ones that don't have a 'C' in the Sent Conf By. For example in Rec Conf By:
Good luck. 73, Mitch

Re: Concerning the *.mdb file used with N3FJP software
Scott Davis
Hi Thomas,
Thanks for your follow up and interesting report. No, all the programs have the exact same Access file structure, all the programs use the same section of code to create the .MDB file and they all open interchangeably here. I have no explanation why properly locating the file in the associated program's location would not work.
Attached is a copy of the file created by the Field Day software. If you wish to experiment, I would love to hear what comes to light. Again though, the files are absolutely identical.

However, it would not work for ARRL Field Day, Winter Field Day, VHF & Georgia QSO Party logging in spite of locating the mdb file. I can assume that the internal structure is different depending on the logging application.
Would it be too much to ask for help with those versions of N3FJP software. I plan to register my copies once I have them working in Linux. No point in registering if the software is broken due to misplaced/incorrect files.

Tagging Contacts for QSL
I think I've got AC Log's features for marking QSO's and their confirmation status clear. Now, while I now use LoTW for most confirmations I will still want to send the odd paper QSL. Also, I wish to mark QSO's where I have received a paper QSL for printing labels later. I do paper QSL's in batches dictated by printing label sheets of 14 labels at a time. My question is: Is there a way to tag a contact such that I can later do a sort on my log and bring up the contacts I wish to print QSL labels for?

Thanks Mike! It is pouring with over 4" of rain already, but we aren't in a flood plane and all is well. The winds here have been okay so far. I loosened the lines to all my wire antennas in the woods yesterday in anticipation.
It looks like just a couple more hours of storm here.
