Hi Bo,

Thanks for your e-mail.  That behavior isn't typical.  In addition to Lou's good recommendation about not having too large a list displayed by default, make sure that the device where you are saving your log file, as well as your backup is accessible and active.

Enjoy!

Make sure you do not have "All" selected at the top.  50 is the general choice.

I'd LOVE to use my ipad for POTA.

I use HAMLOG on the ipad now, but it's not very slick.

I'd move to N3FJP in a heartbeat!!

I know this was a big topic a few years ago, but wondering if there are any new plans to possibly make an Android and iOS version of ACLog.
I enjoy working Parks On The Air, and it would really be nice to be able to have ACLog on an Android tablet, or iPad for logging when activating parks.

Del, I know this doesn't directly address your request, but... I use a small, lightweight Chromebook connected to my PC at home via Google Remote Desktop. I use the hotspot on my phone for the internet connection on the Chromebook. Sounds like a kludge but it works great once you set it up (I used it during the 10 meter contest last weekend). The only drawback: your phone needs cell service and sometimes a POTA location may not have a decent signal.

But, you get all the elegance and ease of ACLog in the field.

This is good news. I would love to see a native Linux version. I have yet to find a Linux logger that meets my needs. Currently run an instance in a WinXP VirtualBox VM for in-shack logging. WINE is a rabbit hole that I avoid.

that is what I currently do now frank.  but I was wondering if I check the enable uploads when it actually uploads and I’m thinking when I click on ENTER it will upload in real time to keep from having to click on several of them .   Reason is you have to click on 10 or 20 or how many ever you have twice, once for LoTW and then again for eQSL.

Well, I checked the ACLog guide and don’t believe the screenshot is up-to-date as it looks nothing like the one now on the LoTW screen. Plus I could not find anything about the ‘enable real time uploads’ —

What I’m wondering is, when does the real time upload happen? I’m going to assume it happens as soon as I click on the ‘ENTER’ key but just want to make sure.

Thanks
