Not a stupid question at all. (Perhaps a stupid answer...) You may have to use CNTRL-SHIFT-R to stop the rig interface so that it doesn’t prefill some of the entries. Then just type in

Ah, so I enter the callsign and then start going through all the other data which was automatically entered (but is incorrect for this call) i.e. date, time band mode etc.

Well if I enter a callsign, it fills in my current band and frequency and date, which is incorrect for the old log.

I used a program called Fast Log Entry.

Saved the ADIF file and imported it to ACLog. It really sped things up for me.

Yup, Just enter as if it were a live contact.
I have done about 2000 from old logs and QSL cards.
Takes less than one minute for me. Word of caution ( lesson learned ) pay

Just enter the q’s like you normally would, the go to FILE>SORT ON DATE and they will be right in order.

Thanks Brian, yes that is a generic form that was originally shared in all my software. You can type in whatever you like, right on the Cabrillo form in my software, before writing the Cabrillo file.

Are you sure the call isn't K2H/SUF. There is a special event for Covid-19 Heroes. K2H then the county abbreviation. SUF is for Suffolk County. It's been spotted on the cluster many times.

ACLog does not handle contacts made with a station on a grid line or grid corner, at least ACLog doesn’t handle them automatically. There is a manual workaround.
