I have an FT-2000. Get a new serial adapter. Avoid prolific chipsets. They got counterfeited some years back. You can download new drivers from their website and a utility to detect counterfeits.

Hi Buzz,
Thanks for your e-mail. The Cabrillo spec only allows for a two character mode designation. RY is used to designated RTTY and DG is used for all other digital modes.

Thanks for your e-mail. The ARRL RTTY RU software wasn't developed with this past weekend's contest in mind. That said, you can easily enter the correct values before creating the Cabrillo

In the submission file that was created by my log (RTTY Roundup Contest Log 3.7), none of the contacts listed show either FT8 or FT4 as the mode. DG is the only mode listed in the Cabrillo file. Is

Thanks for your e-mail. My software will accept whatever is sent from Grid Tracker, so you will need to report your request to the Grid Tracker developer, so that Grid Tracker properly

Alas, 3.7 also doesn't successfully transfer the state from the WSJT-X output (using GridTracker) so it won't log. This is what happened with my last contact:

FT4 is a submode of MFSK as defined in the ADIF spec. The current version ADIF Master has FT4 correctly listed as a submode of MFSK.
