Sorry, this is a bit o topic but the URL follow may interest somebody hi.

There is this Google Calendar here: https://calendar.google.com/calendar/embed?src=9o3or51jjdsantmsqoadmm949k%40group.calendar.google.com&ctz=Etc/GMT

that reports the contest.

I would like to subscribe the calendar to have it among my calendars and see it within the Google calendar application which is way better than the webpage.

To do so I need an URL in iCal format. Do you maybe know how can I get it?

Thanks and best 73.

Re: Using Rig Interface and CW Form Simultaneously #aclog

Kevin Gray

Bob

Normally you need two separate Com ports.

One for the Rig interface, and another separate port to key your CW.

More detail can be found here : http://www.n3fjp.com/cwschematic.html

Some newer radios will do both, using one USB cable, but still require the correct com port drives to do so.

They actually create 2 different ports from the one USB connection.

When ACLog 5.6 was released, there was the following comment from Scott:

"I am particularly excited about this release. One of the new features - the ability to check entity confirmation status in your main log while contesting - is something I've dreamt about for a long time! I'm also very excited about the ability to use rig interface and send CW from multiple programs simultaneously!"

Does this mean I can use the rig interface and CW form in ACLog at the same time? They both try to use the same com port so I'm thinking Scott's comment meant something else.

If Rig Interface and CW Form cannot be used simultaneously in ACLog, would a program that creates virtual com ports be the solution?

Perfect solution to insert the Frequency field into the main Contest display.

I tried several possible editing methods, then interrogated Juliet with no success.
Never dawned on me to check the shortcut list.

Re: Airlink Express and N3FJP

I don’t know anything about “Marrying two programs” or Airlink Express – But – you did mention FSK, so I assume you are wanting to do RTTY using FSK as opposed to AFSK.

Have you looked at FlDigi ? (http://www.w1hkj.com)

It already has support for N3FJP software and has documentation on the N3FJP website. http://www.n3fjp.com/help/digitalsetup.html#fldigi

The Online help is very good, and this section specifically (http://www.w1hkj.com/FldigiHelp/pseudo_fsk_page.html) may do what you want.

The .pdf help file is also from the first link I mentioned, if you prefer to download it.

I have 2 admin's. I looked at the old ACLOG directory and did not see any of these files. The original admin under NU4N. ACLOG shows all my POTA info. What I did was just saved the original ACLOG as a adif and transfered into the new ADMIN under Dave. That's where it does not show any of my POTA info.

The Frequency is recorded for each logged contact, but I could only see that information by selecting the logged contact, selecting Edit, then choosing “More”.

But I couldn’t figure out how to modify the main window to include the Frequency field (by default) on the main display.

Having an exact frequency would speed up the process of determining if a searched station was already in the log.

Anyone know how / or if this can be done?

Simple. You used the DX version of the loggger instead of the US one.

In the DX version, it lists your "sent" report as 59 + serial numbers.

In the US version, it lists your "sent" report as 59 + the two letter code for your state.

You are in the US, so you need to use and submit the correct version.

I don't know but maybe if you open the US version, you will be able to import your log into it and it will correctly list your sent report for each QSO with the proper MA instead of sequential numbers.
