And you can set it to display the past 15 minutes, or any of several other intervals.

DXMaps.com is based on the various clusters plus PSKReporter – you don’t need to upload anything.

Yes Larry, but I need to upload my Adif, the idea here was to be able to see, easy and fast where I have been spotted,
say in the last 15 minutes, that I have called CQ. Could be interesting during a contest, ???
I don't write programs, is it difficult to do, honestly I don't know,  but I thought it could be a nice feature in the future.

Installed 6.9.4.2. Still having the same problem with column widths in the spotting window.   I set the widths, used the log and then closed. When I reopen, the columns are still compressed BUT not nearly as much as in 6.9.4.1.

-  It probably won't be noticeable, but there are a few more performance enhancements under the hood.

-  Regarding the DXSpots ListView column sizing and "stickiness of dragging the columns", in the last beta, I set the ListView to double buffering, with the intention of reducing flicker that occurs on some monitors.  I have not had any trouble here and it is working fine for most folks, but since there have been two problem reports and that is the only thing that I changed, I have removed that setting in 6.9.4.2.  So, while you will still have to click Settings > Reset Columns to Default to correct whatever caused your columns to shrink, the code is now back to previous releases.

Since we are trying very hard to get the next release of AC Log out well before the 13 Colonies event and Field Day out well before Field Day, forwarding UDP packets will likely have to be something we revisit down the line, but we have it on our list of possibilities for the future.

Again, thanks so much for your help, input, testing and enthusiasm.  Chris and I really appreciate it!

Hi all

I find 6.9.4.1 working as designed.  I have 2 little picky observations which I hope could be addressed before the final version is released.
  • I found that the red and green colors to be a bit harsh on my eyes.  Could they be either be made a more pastel shade or allow the user to pick the pallet they prefer.
  • Could you implement an option to resend the UPD packets on?  If find it useful to populate the WSJT-S Aggregator, which automatically sends the spots on to the DXMAPS site.
Neither of these is a deal breaker, but personally the packet resending would make it much more useful to me.

Thanks,

Tonight I was calling CQ, and I was spotted a few places, it displays on my DX SPOT page, which I like
because I got an idea of where my signal is being heard. Would be nice in the future to have a Button on this DX spot page to
view those spot on a map, only those where (your call) in my case VE9VIC, were spotted. I'm visual, probably not the only one.

Hi Jim,

Please try the 6.9.4.2 AC Log Beta that Scott just posted a short time ago.  The DXSpots list column sizing code is back to previous versions.  The only difference was a double buffer setting.  Please see his message here for more information:

Thanks, I saw your post shortly after I posted my question and then deleted my question.
The only problem I still have is after doing what Scott suggested things look much better. If you try to resize any of the columns manually after resetting to default values the changes are not saved and on startup the columns are not usable. Guess we must stay with the default size. This is certainly not a big deal but I don't seem to recall this happening with the previous version.

Your computer will automatically switch to the last installed sound card. Micro$oft sees your radio as a sound card and switches the computer audio to it. Just go into the sound settings in WinDoze and reset it to your computer sound card.

Hi Jim ,

Thanks for your e-mail.  To free up your com port in AC Log so that the other apps can access your rig, just select None from the rig list (Settings > Rig Interface).  Be sure to click the Save Settings button at the lower left first, so you can quickly reload your settings.

Not sure if this is related to the newest version but I am now experiencing the following.
  • I have the DX cluster displaying at the bottom of the logging screen.
  • All of the columns have shrunk down to where none of the titles are readable.
  • I resize the columns by dragging them to a size where all of the info fits.
  • When I close the program and reopen it the columns have shrunk back down.
I did not have this problem before the update to the newest version of the software.

Hi Scott,

Since I upgraded to 6.9.4.1  my DX spotting looks like this  every time I open the program:

The columns are very "stiff" when I adjust and allow me to move only a slight bit instead of moving to where I want.  Worst of all the adjustments are lost when I close the program.    Is this a bug or did I inadvertently adjust something??
