Hi Jim,

I assume you must be inside of VA.  Here is the rule:
Multipliers: Multipliers are only counted once, i.e., contacting the same Virginia County, Independent City, State, Province or Country using a different band or mode counts only as a new QSO, not as a new multiplier.

DC is not a state and is therefore considered part of the state of MD as far as I can tell.

Hello,

I had an idea for a useful piece of logging software.
This would be a program to log QSO’s for radio programs like POTA, SOTA and so on.
Just like a contest program you would make your QSO’s, log them in the program, and later import them in the “big log”, at least that’s what I do.
The advantage with this would be that you can add the designator for the park, summit, or whatever you are doing to the log, and only that log and keep it separate from the log until after the activation.
It also makes it easier to submit your logfiles to that specific program.
So basically a verry barebone contest log!
I hope this idea makes sense!
Thanks for considering.
Bye the way, I bought the full package and usually only use your software to log (except for things like PACC contest, since there is no log software or that (would like to see it though)).

Subject: [N3FJPSoftwareUsers] ACLog repositioning question

Hi
Have a question about repositioning an individual record in AClog. I know that you can sort on date/time to reposition all records in AClog, but is it possible to move an individual record to another place within the current log?
Reason I'm asking: Had imported an adi file from the VAQP in-state log to AClog.  I subsequently found that one of the entries had an invalid callsign, so I deleted the entry. I then found the correct callsign and created a manual record with the proper date/time of the qso.  I wish to insert this record into it's proper place within the records for the VAQP.  During the contest I made other qso's outside the contest, within the date span of the contest, which appear before the VAQP contest entries. I only want to resequence entries from the inserted entry and above.
Hope this all makes sense.  If it is not possible, no big deal as all the qso data is correct.
Thanks - I do enjoy the software. Makes life a lot easier!

Hi All
I am new to this group and also the software, which was recommended to me when I said I wished to move over to an electronic logbook. Although I have been licensed since the mid 70’s my contact numbers are not great, so I intend to input ALL my contacts. I am very pleased with the software so far (it connects very easily to my 3 main rigs - IC7300, IC9700 and KX3).

Moving on, I think I have an issue when inputting old data. I am linked to eqsl (which is also new to me). When I enter a historical contact if I tick the qsl sent box the entry turns green. My question is will this resend a qsl request via eqsl? I've got a feeling it does but how do I check this? I have already had an eqsl appear in my inbox in relation to a contact 20 years ago.

Hope someone can help me on this as I really do like this software.
