Duplicates?

WA7WS

I just tested ACL for making duplicate contacts.. It’s not working.. so, something is likely turned off?
I’ve noticed this on the past activations where I get duplicates.

I tested this at home and put my call into ACL two times.. noting showed it as a duplicate. I thought this was working when I first started using ACL.. In fact, I think it brought up all contacts I’ve made with that person over time?

Help?

Tnx de Bill WA7WS

And the F10 and F11 keys could be used as well.

fldigi and ACLog work well together under Linux. If you wish to do keyboarding with fldigi, simply click on the TX macro, type your heart away and finish with clicking on the RX macro.

Thanks for the reply.

I'm not 100% sure about the install history.  I had had DE installed on my computer from a while back, but Windows couldn't find it, although there was a hidden D:\N7DG folder. So I downloaded and ran the installer. The message popped up before any requests for personal information.

I used Windows to uninstall the application and then manually deleted the N7DG folder. I ran the installer and selected both the options to display the revision history and to launch the program. The revision history was displayed and when I closed that window, the error window was on the screen underneath it. Again, no prompt for personal information.

Hey Phil.  You also have to click on “BLOCK DIGITAL”.  That will get rid of all that FT4 and FT8 crap.

Good luck.

Thanks, Kevin,

I downloaded the CWOPS CWT software, and am ready to give it a whirl tomorrow afternoon.

I've only had 10 classes on CW (CW Academy), so am most likely slower than you are. I'll be calling at 7.033, and you're more than welcomed to look for me there.

I use FLdigi and AClog or the contest logs and have no problem. Use rig control from AClog. You don't need FLrig. I've never used it. Like N3FM said, that may be the problem.

Adif master will do the job. Export ALC adif and import to adif master.

Hi all-
I'm interested in several awards that require you to upload an .adi file with a customized set of fields to their database.  I'm curious if there is a way to customize the output of ACLog so that the ADIF file has specific fields?

If not directly, is there a way to use a copy of the database and feed it into some custom software to generate the desired file?  An "ADIF manipulator" if you will.

Thanks!
