DXCC credits consolidation and tracking
I shouldn't mention this here but still hope there is a solution.
I use the good ol' ACL and try to keep up with my DSCC credits, QSLs, etc. But getting it and LOTW or CLULOG to agree is impossible. I thought LOTW contacts automatically went toward your DXCC certificate, but I did something there and it cost me $36 to get some credits. A fee and 10 cents per credit. Anxious to see if that bumps up my credits. Keeping track of the paperwork is a chore. Mailing DX QSLs & $, sending to the bureau, etc Some like the HRD logger. Is it any good? If so I'll import ACL into it periodically to 'balance the budget' Help appreciated. -- 73, Bo W4GHV since '54 https://www.qrz.com/db/W4GHV

Re: FW: ACLOG
That number seems high. Even with the pandemic. Usually only about 7-8K for each of the contests. Total a little under 20k combined. 10k would be more believable. Dale K8TS

Yes! More than likely a lot of processing to go on. Wait until late tonight or tomorrow morning. Lou WA5LOU

FW: ACLOG
Jerry W1IE
GA Scott,
This morning after I had done my processing for the CQWWCW contest, I started up the N3FJP logging software to upload the ADIF file. Much to my surprised, the program presented itself as a “newly installed program in that I had to provide a password (which I had) and then do the setup. It also created a brand-new empty database.
Since I use Microsoft’s file History program, it was not difficult to jump back to Nov. 27th and download the files. There all seem quite well and I uploaded the ADIF file with no problems. I then opened the LOTW in your software and did an update. I waited until late this afternoon and did a query on LOTW expecting 400+ entries to be returned with the “Sent” value to be a “Y”. But nothing came back. Tried several times even changing the QSO RX DATE and still no joy. The following is what I did received.
Retrieving records from LoTW. Please wait for a response from the LoTW server...
LoTW Data received...
ARRL Logbook of the World Status Report Generated at 2020-11-30 20:55:00 for w1ie Query: OWNCALL: W1IE QSL ONLY: NO QSO RX SINCE: 2020-11-27 00:00:00 (user supplied value)

<eoh>
<APP_LoTW_EOF>
Complete download confirmed...
Processing...
Processing complete. Updates, if any, have been incorporated into your database. Please click Done to proceed.
Have I completely “messed” up my installation of your software?

Re: ACLog - Net and Round Table Manager
A long time ago, I warned Scott against creeping featurism which he chose to ignore. I guess that's because Scott is a much nicer person than I.
If you want a Custom Net Log in which you can order, edit, and include any fields you want, I suggest using a spreadsheet program, e.g., M$Excel or Open/Libre Office Calc, Then, if you want to import your spreadsheet into ACLog, these instructions provide a step by step procedure for converting your spreadsheet to ADIF format. TWO caveats:
If you need individual assistance, please contact me OFF LIST. Use the subject "Spreadsheet Net Log".

Idea? When you install your software can you add the option for resolution or size of monitor I use a 40in monitor as primary an spend my time trying to get all fonts and screens to line up upon shutting down and starting over AB8WD

Thanks for the information Larry.
Did you guys use the on line submittal form? Mine went fine, without errors. Maybe they just fixed the robot?

The
robot would not accept my cabrillo file generated by the contest log (v5.8). I
had to create adif file and use their log converter. Kept saying my mode (CW)
and contest (CQ-WW-CW) did not match. It was correct, but the robot would not
accept it.

Hi Bobby,
Thanks for your e-mail. I'm sorry that you ran into trouble. There have been no changes to the Cabrillo output for several years now, no other problem reports and my 830 QSOs were just accepted fine.
CW is the correct mode for the CQ WW CW contest.
