If I’m not mistaken all of Scott’s loggers log in 24 hour time. That’s basic Ham Radio. How would you be able to confirm QSOs if you logged in local time (12 hour) and your contact was drinking a cool one in Swaziland?

Thank you Scott. I've been away from ham radio for two years and find I need some reorientation. Still enjoy using your software and still recommend it to my friends. Vy 73 de Joe

I keep getting e-mails about this Sprint that runs for 4 hours. The exchange is their call sign, your call sign, serial number, name and state/province.
Do you have any software that might work? The NAQP would work if I wrote down separately each serial number. But trying to eliminate that extra step.
Thanks in advance.

Scott Davis
Hi JoAnn,
Thanks for your e-mail. For a time, their rules diverged, necessitating the addition of a different program. If things ever slow down and I have the opportunity I will remerge them into one, but there are countless, higher priority items on the to do list presently.
Enjoy! 73, Scott

I am getting setup for the NA SSB Sprint this weekend. I noticed that you have TWO NA Sprint downloads. One has the CW and RTTY Modes greyed out and the other you can select between
CW/RTTY/SSB. Just wondering what the difference is between the Loggers. IMHO, it seems to be
a redundancy with the SSB Only Version.

Re: new user-lotw confirmations?
Don't know, mine just showed up that way. Local time in 12 hour format and UTC 24 hour.

I am not that energetic for DXCC but I do want to try more CW. I may try the site you suggested and see what happens. I have listened to qso's in progress which helps also. I can probably do 8 wpm at this time. 73, Dave KC3AM

to ACL.

Go there and see if the program is actually there or possibly the path is wrong somehow. Dave KC3AM

Hi Bernard,
Thanks for your e-mail. I'm sorry that you have run into trouble. What specifically is the error message that you are receiving when you try to start AC Log? Which version are you running?
Your log files are independent of the installation (and AC Log makes backups automatically too), so unless your hard drive is failing, your log is likely fine. 73, Scott

Re: Nov Sweep
Scott has a cw practice program the last I looked, and admittedly never used. G4FON has a contest emulator that includes SS, as well as 5-6 other major CW contests. It set me back $20, but can be set at any speed. Work a couple of hours a day and push the envelope on speed. You will be pleasantly surprised at your score on Scott’s SS program when done. Dale K8TS

Re: Rig Interface
This is a good opportunity to enable the API on AC Log, then have the contest loggers talk to the API for radio bits. It also makes it dead easy to transfer your contest contacts into the general log.
