Thanks much Scott!
Just wanted to make sure I did not cause a problem.
Now to enter QSL cards from 1977 - 1984, log books no where to be found.

Hello everyone,

It is time for me to start  inputting data for my two previous call's
into ACL.

I see in the Faq section for multi ham families that all that is needed
is to do is
file > new > Start a new log with a new database .....

The existing log is called  LogData.mdb for my KC3AM call.

I wish to create a database for KC3AI and WB3GDB so would I name the new
file KC3AI.mdb  &  WB3GDB.mdb?

I don't want to cause myself any troubles.

Thanks much,

Hi Larry,

Thanks for your e-mail.  If you count off times greater than 30 minutes as being inactive, you operated 2:36:17.  If you count off times greater than 60 minutes as being inactive, you operated 4:07:37.

A quick check of the rules indicates 60 minutes for Class Overlay.  I didn't check to see if any of the other options had a time constraint.

Hi John,

Thanks for your e-mail.  Click Settings > Rig Interface and deselect the power option that is keying your cable (which sounds like is working fine).

You will need to use a separate port for CW from rig interface.

I got a cable on amazon to go from the usb port of my computer and send CW with the straight key jack. I believe it uses RTS though there is no info with it. No matter how I set it though, as soon as I open the software, mostly tested with the 10 meter contest logger since that's the next contest I plan to participate in, as soon as I open the software it's like someone's holding a straight key down, just a constant tone. Is this a software setting I need to change or is it something with the cable? radio is a ts-590S not the G version. I have another cable with the 1/4 jack I tried that with an adapter but the computer doesn't like that one, it will this computer just is a pain about anything I add to it for some reason and I don't feel like going through the hassle of setting up another device on this nightmare computer if I don't have to. I'm guessing there is no way to send CW with the usb port in the radio as there is with some? I rather send by hand but you know the odd contest now and then it's nice to have that for stored CW reports and stuff.
Thanks,

Hi Jim,

How does it do that?  Do you have to change your location in ACL?  I run mobile/portable a lot and use the method described above setting up a new LOTW location.  This seems easier.

new user-lotw confirmations?

Ken Reid

Hi,
I brought in all my previous logs (Maclogger) via adi.
It does not seem like any of the qsls sent or confirmed came along.
In Maclogger I would download a adi file from lbotw, and use that to confirm contacts.
I have LBOTW working on my PC, and I think its all working on the new logging program.
Is there a way to confirm all my contacts ? I have downloaded a adi from Lbotw with all my confirmations, or is there a way to go direct.
Cross posted to both groups
Thanks
