Which Key For Phone Transmit

Ken

I can't find any place where the key for Rig Control Transmit is defined. The test buttons for TX and RX in Settings:Rig Interface function OK.

Thanks.

Re: Control shift W ?

Ken Gunther

The information on the Control Shift W form does not change so a printed copy can be used. Type the information into your word processor using a very large font and then print it. You can also take an image of the screen (e.g. snipping tool on Windows 10) paste it into a word processor and then enlarge and print it.

Is there any way to make the little box that comes up to show the CW function keys any larger? I have a friend with limited vision who would benefit by larger characters.

FT-897 bug in latest WSJT-X v2.2.2

w_palmquist@...

Sorry to use this forum for this but thought if anyone else is having difficulties it might save several hours of troubleshooting.

I downloaded the latest version WSJT-x for FT8 operation in conjunction with N3FJP field day software. (Great software and support Scott!!  TNX!)
I found after several frustrating hours of not having WSJT-x talk to my rig that the problem is selecting "FT897" under file...settings...radio...rig...
Remembering the FT-847 is a very similar radio I chose it instead,  and it worked!

Good luck with FD!

Noticing those of us who set up using 6.2 have regular filenames e.g. n9dms.html - we did this just few days before 6.3 became available.  Those who set up after downloading 6.3 get the word "contest" inserted in their web-page filename by default. e.g n9dms-contest.html   The question is, is there any harm to the the Club Score Processor or anything else by using the old file-naming convention that does not have the -contest inserted in it? eg n9dms.html  ?

Is 6.3 compatible with a Mac?  I scanned over that subject here but couldn't really tell what everyone was arguing about.

Thanks very much!!!   '73

Hi Scott,

I realize this probably wouldn't be on the high priority list but I utilize AC Log's web Upload feature to update my website with my online log.  I was wondering if you could change it to where either the comments field or one of the other fields could be added and displayed after the State column on the web page?  I would just like to be able to add a few notes about each contact and have those appear on the website along with the contact info.  You probably wouldn't want to want to add the comments field to the website as that is where the address info gets put in AC Log  so that's why I mentioned using the other field instead.
