Thanks for your e-mail. The mode value is being transferred from FLDigi to AC Log via the API. Since FLDigi is providing the value, you should contact the FLDigi folks on this.

Thanks for the good report Bob. My software copies the needed files from Program Files to the My Documents folder on program start. For some reason, Windows or your Internet protection software blocked the copy of 7QPCounteies.txt. Your remedy is fine, but I am wondering why this occurred.
What Internet protection software are you and Lance running? I am guessing there is is false positive on that file (which is very strange, as it is only a text file).

Well I just thought of something and found the fix. Well not sure but I have it working now.
I went to my OS( C ) and click on program files then n3fjp software-Affirmatech,7QP and then 7QPcounties. They are all there. So I copied the text document saved it and then went to MY documents and brought up the 7QP file and loaded my saved text file in with my county files in my documents and then when I brought up the N3FJP program again it came up with asking me to log in . Once I did that if came up and now it is working. I can enter WAGRN with a call and it works like it is suppose to.
Hope that helps someone else and you can understand how I did it.

Have you read page 16 of the YT-100 Manual? Have you set the program to 4800 baud? Also, make sure that the FT-857 CAT/LIN/TUNER menu is showing CAT.

No I do not have a cat splitter. The tuner gets it's power from the radio and does so thru the cat port on the radio. I quess a need a splitter for the radio cat port. Instructions are on the CD, but in short, just start Windows File Manager, navigate to the program on the CD you wish to install and then double click the setup file.

I installed it on my XP machine. Except for a bunch of operator problems works great. Still getting used to it.
Try to install it on my Win 8.1 machine. Load the CD which reads it but it never asks me to install it. Nothing happens.
Went to the controls setting and set it to ask me each time is installed - nothing happens.
Turned on AUTOPLAY too but nothing happens.
Any ideas. I am not a guru on this stuff by any means.

I also double checked UTGAR and it is accepting it here as well.

And make sure 7QPCounties.txt exists (and is not locked by your Internet Protection software or Windows security settings). If blocked, correct your security settings. If missing, add the file attached to this e-mail.
Regarding the tuner, sorry, I'm not familiar with the equipment you mentioned. Hopefully others will have more insights there.

Hi Eduardo,
Thanks for your e-mail. From the menu options click File > Show File Locations and note the location of your Shared settings folder. Then close AC Log.
Open BandPlan.txt in a text editor and edit the "E" values to your preference.
Keep in mind that whenever you click File > Download Country Files from AD1C, that file is also updated, so keep a backup of your customized file.
